How to play Match Pairs
Sixteen cards start face down, hiding eight matching pairs of emoji. Click a card to flip it, then flip a second. If the two emojis match, the pair stays face up; if they don't, both flip back over after a moment. Clear all eight pairs to win. Every flip of a second card counts as one move, and the game saves your lowest move count as your best score — so the goal is to finish in as few moves as you can.
Tips & strategy
- Explore before you match. Early on, turn over new cards to learn the board rather than guessing blindly.
- Anchor positions in memory. Mentally note "rocket, top-left" as each card is revealed.
- Grab known matches fast. Once you've seen both halves of a pair, claim it before the location fades.
- Scan in order. Reveal cards along a consistent path so it's easier to remember what you've already seen.
